Australia has some of the worlds best Wheat crop, and some of the worlds poorest quality bread with the highest prices.

There is a 41% increase in the price of bread since 2019 alone, and farmers make less than ever.

Honestly, I don't get in to the city often at all anymore. I was born and raised in San Francisco proper. Back in the 70s and even a good portion of the 80s it was a great place to be. I've watched it change for sure, but I moved north in to Marin County some 25 years ago. Still went to the city for a good number of years for work, but haven't really been there with any decent frequency since about 2017.

It's sad to see a place of such natural beauty and wonder change like it has over the years.
