The dialects are hardly unintelligible, but it’s the spelling when written that’s always the giveaway. I can easily understand American English, but I would find it difficult to write in American English (not impossible, but it would take more effort than it would be worth). Assuming English is a second language for this supposed Spaniard, how would he even know how to spell words in American English (he spelled it city ‘center’ ffs)? Definitely not an actual Spaniard unless he was raised in the US.

For me english is a second and I say color, license; but then its: behaviour and grey.

Shit gets mixed up fast if you are exposed day in day out to Burger speak. (also some spelling may have a connection to your native like I would rather say meter than metre as its more natural for me)
