I had my motorcycle with me in Montana while working there for a few months, staying at a hotel that had just got a new asphalt parking lot. They kept getting pissed at me because they wanted me to use a little square plate of steel under the kickstand so it wouldn't make little indents in the parking lot. I thought it was bullshit. I ended up making a couple little holes in the parking lot, they got pissed and almost kicked me out, then I started using the little steel plate lol.
