No Microsoft did not ditch DEI. This news is a gross misrepresentation. I work in tech and have many friends that work for MS. I asked a few of them about this their response was that layoff happen all the time every three month and this was just one DEI team out of many. The only reason it made the news was because the butthurt fired employee that flamed MS in social media. At MS they still have mandatory DEI training, mandatory DEI goals, executive's bonuses are tied to DEI metrics, etc., etc., etc.

OMFG man. It is so bad. Luckily I do not work under either of them, but they each have leading roles with 2 different projects I do IT work for, and I have to deal with them on a regular. Even the nigger bitch I have to deal with is more competent and less annoying.
One of the 2 leads an entire team of pajeets. And they aren't in India. They are in a major US city. I don't even know how any of these curry stains have a job in any computer related field. I'm not particularly good, but they make me look like a god. They can't answer basic questions. I mean basic as fuck. It drives me crazy because I am sure the whole lot of them earn more than I do just for being pajeets. There isn't a single non pajeet among them which has got to be some violation of discrimination laws. And they are all being paid on the US taxpayer dime.

For years IT respect was based solely on Knowledge and Ability. This is seen in movies in 2000.
