“He did not deserve to die this way. It’s such a tragedy that my husband was murdered in cold blood,” she said, but it remained unclear if she had seen the video of the shooting.
He got out of the car with a gun in his right hand, punched the door, switched the gun to the left hand, then raised his right hand while pointing a finger at the driver (hand shaped like a gun). Looks like three shots to the neck.
Not sure where the investigation will land on self-defense but it'll very be hard to argue that the deceased didn't provoke/escalate the situation.
I agree that's the likely determination. The shooter probably claimed he thought the guy had raised the gun with his right hand to point and shoot at him, not knowing the gun switched hands.
Still, because the video shows the deceased didn't actually point the gun at the other driver, maybe it'll be more complicated.

'The driver of the pickup truck was initially detained but later released after investigators found that the driver may have been acting in self-defense.'
Yea, self defense - he doesn't really need to point it - walking up agitated with his firearm out, smacks the top of the door with the firearm (switches firearm to other hand unseen by driver) quickly raises right arm up again - as soon as i saw that arm coming up again - any reasonable person is immediately going to believe the firearm is coming back up - totally not taking that chance if i'm the driver. totality of circumstances something something ...
Why even pull out his firearm and brandish it in that manner - completely different scenario if guy had left it in his vehicle and truck guy popped him.
All these NPC's running around suffering main-character syndrome. Just insufferable.
Family should play this video to the Wife at every anniversary
Ever since I started taking magnesium citrate, I’m far more calm while driving. Even when someone does something stupid, I think to myself: “Well of course, the retard driving is being retarded.”
This became most evident during my drives into and out of the concrete jungle.
Rather than giving people the finger, I started tapping my head pointing to my brain while shouting: “Use your fucking brain.” Makes me smile.
Magnesium is one of those common deficiencies, and it's tied to so many bodily processes. I take magnesium citrate as well. It definitely helps me with things like muscle tightness and energy levels, and feeling calm.

The length of this video may try your patience, but it's like a different version of magnesium citrate.
