Do people who don't understand the original appeal of Eddie Murphy it was he was a black guy acting like black guys really do and not pretending to be a white guy. For example his funniest skit on Saturday night live was he was behind a jail cell saying his poem "kill my landlord".

Beverly hills cop is a perfect example of him acting black. He goes into a white town where the cops are very polite and procedural and he acts like a nigger. He does whatever he wants in any way he wants and to a lot of people it's kind of funny.

It was a funny movie but it's important to understand why it was funny. That's why it was funny.

He was a black guy being the stereotypical black guy.

In fact one of his most famous lines in the movie is when he goes into a bar and he says "I'm your worst nightmare I'm a nigger with a badge"
