There's a neat trick you can use when you want to assert it was about power and not slavery. First point to the Constitution of the US and say the South had a right to leave. Next point out according to the Constitution the North had to, and could have relinquished control over the South after the war, with the obvious qualifications of no more slavery and remaining de-militarized. When they say that wouldn't have worked, simply point to Germany and Japan at the end of WW2.

To put it simply, the North had a theoretical right to go to war, a right that falls apart when you analyze the North's behavior at the time, but it did not have a right to remain in control of the South.

Whites fought in the civil war for all sorts of reasons. Some of the holy rollers were probably fighting for abolition but I dont think it was the majority.

People believe what its in their interest to believe. Niggers dont want to believe that they live in shitty neighborhoods becasue they ruined them, and that they cant get good jobs because they are lazy and stupid. It is more attractive to believe the great lie, that systemic racism, unmeasurable and unobservable, is at fault for black failure. Why would they choose to believe the truth when the lie is so good to them? Its literlly all they have. It allows them to keep their dignity.

We have seen every variation of help. I have seen the nigger adopted into a good, White family and taught at the best schools turn to crime. We have seen niggers helped out with food, money and housing, turn to crime. We have seen niggers get no help and manage to get all those things on their own still turn to crime.
