I have read of strong men making the good times good times that I enjoyed as an early-80's suburban street punk in the greater Boston region. I didn't personally have much (youngest of 6 kids, broken home, drunk single parent who didn't hit the grocery store very often) but there were job opportunities to learn trade skills and I built my own future. I witnessed good times making weak men; the generation behind me choosing video games and porn over sunshine and a framing hammer, their parents protecting them from the only thing that could help them to survive independently: reality.

I fear that we will quite soon enter a period where these weak men will be the custodians of the hardest times anyone alive today, or the preceding generations before them ..has ever seen -or even heard of.
