It's funny to see an Australian who's blind to the plank in his own eye.

One of my sisters works at a university and these foreign students are apparently so "poor" the university provides a food bank. From which they help themselves most generously.

Fuggen scam. Free food and a pathway to citizenship, what mugs we are.

We have known about it for decades. Foreign students are given preference at detriment to developing our domestic skilled labour, because foreigners pay more and have to resit modules frequently.
The government doesn't regulate education because they are greedy, incompetent and hate us.

These are public universities, no? By not regulate, you mean they let the university structure manage itself? Is it still a part of the government?

Indeed most Australian universities are funded through government research programs, teaching/faculty grants and through student fees supported by a Government-backed loan scheme.

UNSW & The University of Sydney are both State Government-owned, with UNSW is ranked 2nd in Australia and 27th in the world for Graduate Employability, so they go out of their way to make sure very few Aussies can qualify for entry regardless of academic credentials because they get more money favouring overseas students.

Australia is home to 42 universities, with 37 public Australian, three private Australian and two private international universities.

Yet the problem persists because they government turn a blind eye to it. Our entiure conuntry is zogged to the max and if you are White and straight you have zero way to succeed in this nation if born after the mid to late 70s.
