Even there it's all about the indie games. Has been for years. The big game industry is all owned by kikes.
The originators who built good games were usually White nerds doing it for the love of gaming. They got rich and built a life, kikes took over and pushed their tranny communism into everything.
Its a shit system. I remember the good ol days when you put it in and just play and i twas good. Games have been shit for a while now and now we're at a standstill. Updates is kikery. The only game I'm looking forward to is GTA6 and I expect it to be cucked. I gave up on Elder Scrolls. Bethesda is too far gone to make a good game these days. Nintendo is finally making a new Metroid but who the fuck knows when it gets here.

I’m not a gamer by any means but I will totally fag out for a solid Resident Evil remake.
In 2019, I bought a graphics card for RE2. Enjoyed it. I was ready to dish out for a Collector’s Edition but instead had to download some game Steam Valve bullshit. Now if I want to play RE2, I need to install and login to Steam.
RE3 was a letdown. RE5 and all the games after are modern Call of Duty dogshit. Give me a slow survival horror inventory-management puzzler and day.
Rumor has it RE1 will have a remake in 2026. That was my favorite game of all time and I will absolutely download the Cleveland Steamer app to purchase it. If any of yall think that game sucks dick, I won’t defend it. It was a deliberately slow puzzler not for everyone.
I used to love the old RE games back on the N64. I was too young for RE1 but got my hands on RE2, during a time where I was able to convince my parents that it wasn't nearly as bad as they thought it was. Back then, it actually scared the hell out of me.
Coming to the present, though, everything has changed because people have changed. Our tastes have changed, our technology has changed, and we're very different than the generation that existed 30 years ago. I can play games and do things with settings, adjustments, and graphics that I could only dream of when I switched channels on my TV to play my Nintendo and Sega Genesis.
While I love the old games, the new generation is something that is just as impressive if not just as capable as it was before. Yes, there's drawbacks and annoying "features" that are really just data grabs. However, don't forget that gaming journalists who carry weight in the industry can't figure out how to get past the tutorials in some games, and people like us can figure it out without blinking twice.
I disagree with your last point but it’s probably because I’ve grown up and don’t give a shit about video games. To me, it looks like the kids have been playing the same Call of Duty game for the last 24 years. Fort Night, Destiny, Team Fortress, it all looks the same. And the graphics all have the same shaders and styles that they all start to look like the same game engine.
The only saving grace is the male bonding over headset. I never spoke to anyone while gaming as it was always my quiet time. That’s something we didn't have growing up and is the only positive in modern gaming although it’s not a suitable replacement for team sports.

The old school RE games were my favorite as a child. I believe 4 ruined the series. I played REmake 2, I beat it I think? but idk.. It was so meh. Maybe I've just gotten old.
I never liked them, but was given a PS2 decades ago and tried RE4. Despite the all-digital controls, I fucking spent hundreds of hours on that game. Something extremely addictive about clearing zombie trash out of everything and stockpiling as much as possible. The music and environment was so immersive and run-down. So much decay.

The last time I was excited for a game enough to buy the modern console was Gran Tourismo 6...which was a massive disappointment.
Wonder if the football game is even on disc.
