I have 1,000 USD in my paypal account but cant use it unless I like my account to by banking account. The jews need to die. And by die I mean the most 6 millions painfully way possible.

I've been paid through paypal and couldn't get the money out unless I spent it through paypal. It's like they turn real money into fake money. So there it sits, in my paypal account, until one day, it's gone. Paypal absolutely steals from its users.

I got a free Wise account and free Wise debit card that I used to link to PayPal. The only money in Wise I transfer from my real bank account when I need it, so my money can never be frozen by PayPal.

If they aren't a real pal then threaten to sue for the maximum in small claims because of some 'double your money investment' you couldn't do. ie real tort. That will cost them a lot more than a grand. Your time is not recoverable unless it is billable business cost. Make your cut one of the thousand which kills them.

paypal is completely useless now. At one point they were great for buying things and would give you some protection and anonymity. Now they are a middle man with no benefits, I closed my accounts years ago, and they still reopen every so often and ask for my info.

Haven't they always worked that way? You don't need any money at all in a paypal account, because whatever you spend comes out of your linked bank or credit union account.

If you're just wanting the money without linking to a bank account, you might be able to close your account and have them send a physical check.

I read all those stories on old reddit. I know the posters were always the victim, but I've never had a problem as a basic user.

And if you buy off of sites like Temu, the 'express checkout with PayPal' is way more comfortable than giving them your actual account info. Temu refunds with no problem, but I remember one of the business complaints was that PayPal always takes the customers side on refunds.
