The united states has been trying to bomb that power plant and say Ukraine did it for a long time.

Are you even capable of discernment? Russia started a fire at their own nuclear plant to "blackmail Europe"?

You're just gonna believe that shit, huh?

Google "false flag"

[ - ] FreeinTX 0 points 8 monthsAug 12, 2024 07:12:38 ago (+0/-0)

A false flag that would trigger NATO's Article 5? That wouldn't be Russia doing the, now would it?

Except Ukraine isn't in NATO, dipshit

What constitutes an attack on a NATO member nation?

The Article 5 language specifies that an “armed attack” on a member nation is what triggers collective action.

But what constitutes an “armed attack” is up to NATO members, and Russia’s aggressive posture has already prompted concern about the country’s willingness to potentially tempt a NATO response

For example, Democratic Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia told The Washington Post recently that a Russian cyberattack on Ukraine could lead to consequences beyond the intended “geographic boundaries” and affect NATO members.

“It could end up bleeding into Poland or Romania or into the Baltic states and cause damage that would shut down hospitals, and potentially, you’ve got American troops there. If American troops in a truck crash because the lights were out, you could get very close to Article 5,” Warner, the Senate Intelligence Committee chairman, told the outlet

Russia’s attack on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant site – the largest in Europe – had prompted similar concern. While local authorities said there’s been “no change in radiation levels” in the area, what if there had been a radiation leak that spread into a NATO member nation?

This is an article from 2023, the last time the media was stoking fears that a nuclear power plant attack could draw NATO into Ukraine.

Did you forget, or wut?

So, according to your own source (cnn lol) it would not trigger article 5. Do you even read this shit?

Amazing how a "drone" cause a fire inside at the bottom of a cooling tower. No damage anywhere else. A fire, from a drone where no flammable material is? Suppose the Ukraine drone must have hit some really flammable water tanks. The water must contain something like tires, because the smoke is very black.

Yes, according to CNN, reporting the statements made by Senator Mark Warner, an attack on a nuclear power plant that could cause radiation levels to increase in a NATO county would constitute a justification for an Article 5 response from NATO.

I have no idea what the fuck you're talking about drones for.

Dude, I hope you're trolling again. You think tyres on fire in the cooling tower of a cold nuclear power station will trigger article 5? Lol. It's like scraping your cars paint and thinking the engine won't work. It's impressive how ignorant you are in literally everything. I think you may be the dumbest person on voat, an impressive feat

What happens to a nuclear reactor if the cooling tower is rendered inop?

[ - ] Sal_180 [op] 0 points 8 monthsAug 12, 2024 08:44:18 ago (+0/-0)

A cold nuclear power station that was shut down 18 months ago? Nothing. Even if it wasn't, it could be shut down safely now. You think if anything goes wrong with it, it explodes or something? Lol, as I sa, it's impressive how you have a lack of knowledge about such a wide range of subjects

Coming from a nigger that routinely posts shit from Newsweek.
