i'm not even going to spoil anything that happens in it.

its written by douglas adams, aka the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy guy. dirk gentley's holistic detective agency is MORE INSANE then the hitchhiker books. i could literally tell you what the twist at the end of the book is revealed to be, and you would think i was on crack and lying to you.

im picking up the Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul as soon as i can to see where the hell this goes on to.

I tried to read Hitchhiker's Guide and yeah... I can't stand that reddit-level nerd humour. Makes me cringe so hard.

I read it a long time ago. I vaguely recall it was one of the more enjoyable reads.

i just read it during a camping trip and i literally blew through it wholly over the course of 24 hours or less in one sitting (interrupted only by sleep), becuase trying to explain what happens in it would make you sound like a crazy homeless person on meth
