But this collapse is going to be so severe, here's some more good advice:
Learn how to smelt copper and tin in a homemade forge to make the brass you're going to need when there's no more commerce.
Figure out the correct formula of charcoal/saltpeter/sulfur to make your powder. Don't worry about the lead. If you get this far, you'll figure out lead.
Learn how to preserve food.
Learn basic medicine.
Create a library.

I've got an accumulated stockpile of 20,000rnds, in addition to that I have 4 reloading presses (one progressive pre-set for 9mm), I've 2,000 750-800grn projectiles for my .50CAL and 30lbs of BMG50powder, spare barrel, extra mags and 2 6x34x50 Bushnell scopes, and multiple .223 and .300 Blackout barrels for my ARs...and then there's my armload of 7.62x39 SKS, one with a scope, and I've got a shit load of 7.62x39 ammo in spam cans and blah blah blah...IF NOT NOW WHEN? THE GREAT BOOGALOO HAD BETTER KICK OFF SOON.
