Exercise, eat healthy, moderate your vices, practice humility, declutter your living and work space, be less negative, take up hobbies, get 20min of sunlight a day, where possible maintain a routine and get enough regular sleep.

Yes.

Expanding on Healthy Diet since it’s objectively subjective. Start with an Elimination Diet

I can run this trial on myself with great results. If I eat normal food, I quickly start to feel terrible and blood pressure increases. Elimination diet gives me normal blood pressure, I feel great, and I sleep great.

Please start with the elimination diet and build from there. Also: Exposure to sunlight. Iodine to combat halogen displacement. Grass fed beef liver for vitamins and minerals. Magnesium glycinate as this mineral is almost void from the food supply.

Lastly, I am still unsure if there is sufficient copper in grass fed beef liver. Glyphosate chelates it from the crops.

If you’re a man or post-menopausal woman, run a blood iron panel. You will need to dump blood if you have any intention on living a long life as it accumulates in healthy people.

Don’t drink alcohol. Literal mycotoxin. It is pure Poison. (Haiku)

All the basics to keep a healthy body and mind. It's almost as if these are good things.

Being snarky aside, this protocol cures so many of modern-day ills.

A common theme people aren't grasping: physical activity forces you to focus on what you're doing and gets you out of your thoughts. A day of physical activity and your body is too tired to waste energy thinking over the troubles you'd otherwise dwell on.

You are not an ill victim of disease, 'addiction' is made up bullshit, an euphemism.

You are using those euphemisms as you were taught by a warped society/fucked up and corrupt "healthcare system" in order to excuse your bad behavior and play the victim when you are in fact the perpetrator.

Grow up and start taking responsibility for your own actions.

Good advice fails to reach even the most eager of listeners if that advice is given with malicious words.

There's always an excuse for not doing what you needed to do.
Trying to cry about how people didn't coddle you enough when giving advice is just pathetic, and really the opposite of personal responsibility. Nobody else actually cares about your problems, which is why they're your problems.

Alternative health shit is a scam. If they worked, big pharma, the government and the medical industry would treat it the same as prescription drugs so they could benefit the most from it.

[ - ] dass 0 points 9 monthsAug 29, 2024 00:00:53 ago (+0/-0)*

You mean like how 20 years ago, the pharma industry attempted to reclassify and require anyone wanting vitamin and health supplements to be first authorized by a registered Doctor and GP with a prescription?.

Pepperidge farm remembers.

[ - ] UncleDoug -1 points 9 monthsAug 29, 2024 02:27:27 ago (+0/-1)

That’s because certain vitamins competed with each other in metabolic function. Some doses of vitamins also exhibit toxicity which is why they should be regulated.
Also multi vitamins is a scam when you start understanding things like bioavailability.
Just eat meat and vegetables.

[ - ] dass 0 points 9 monthsAug 29, 2024 03:42:23 ago (+0/-0)

Kind of but no but sure you can believe big pharma was only doing it for your best interests of health, that is why you learn to know which and when during the day to take different supplements. As some complement each other while some don't and counter act another.
Vitamin toxicity is in general extremely well known and typically occurs at very high levels unless one has autoimmune disorders or compromised immune system function.
Poor quality meat (supermarket) and crop vegetables can be vitamin/ mineral deficient and confounded by pesticides and antibiotics and gmo, many farmlands esp where i live are well known as mineral deficient, injcluding from continual overuse.

[ - ] UncleDoug 0 points 9 monthsAug 29, 2024 04:40:32 ago (+0/-0)

you can believe big pharma

that is why you learn to know which and when during the day to take different supplements.

I have been suffering with depression and drug addiction for the last 10 years
ahem...
drug addiction for the last 10 years
Why isn't everybody telling you - TO STOP ABUSING DRUGS! You aren't depressed, you are a drug addict suffering the ill effects of drug use. Now CUT THAT OUT!

Once sober, I suggest getting out in nature. That gets your mind off of most problems.

[ - ] HonkyMcNiggerSpic 2 points 9 monthsAug 28, 2024 20:32:20 ago (+2/-0)

You wanna stop doing drugs? Just stop. Don't do them. Simples. Depressed? Get busy and build something in life. Become passionate about it.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 2 points 9 monthsAug 28, 2024 20:22:13 ago (+3/-1)

I took a high dose potent anti-fungal medication and for 4 hours every day felt the best that I have ever felt in my life

Thats really interesting. Let me know what drug it was if you feel like sharing.

I have dealt with depression my entire adult life. I used to hope for a cure. I used to hope the next pill would be the one that worked. I don’t anymore. I can say that when I stick to a healthy lifestyle (regular exercise, eating healthy, keeping to a regular sleep schedule, no drugs or booze) it’s manageable. I don’t do antidepressants anymore. They never seemed to work in the long run— they always crap out. I don’t deal with high stress well. So Im never going to be some fucking high powered professional fag. I have accepted that theres some things I cant do well.

I was a borderline alky for decades. I usually was controlled/regimented in my drinking ( except when I was really depressed) It was my warm fuzzy place to escape from stress. Caffeine was my daily drug to fight my chronic lethargy. I didn’t realize they were causing a mood imbalance that was with me even when I wasn’t using them. Once I quit alcohol I knew that it was adding to the depression I felt between drinking bouts. I didn’t think it was at the time though. Caffeine was just making me a moody bitch. I don’t have less energy than I did when I was drinking it. My sleep patterns are way better. I feel much more balanced since quitting these drugs and I feel somewhat happier.

I try not to overeat or eat junk food, which I feel works similar to drug addictions by dysregulating your brain’s pleasure response. I excercise 3 or 4 hours a week which I think helps to regulate your brain’s pleasure response. I try to think of excercise as natures antidepressant. If Im having a bad spell I usually notice that Im flaking off my excercise. I take supplements too. Try vitamin D3, a B-complex, and maybe magnesium glycinate or magnesium threonate if you can afford it. You might want to try some other stuff thats good for brain health like omega 3 or lions mane.

Maybe this isn’t what you want to hear. Its just boring cliche advice. But I honestly feel like the anhedonia that I felt was due to booze and a shitty lifestyle.

I did use adderall for a spell. This video is really realistic. After I was on it for a while I felt like a black evil invaded my brain. It was there every time I woke up in the morning. But initially I was like “ this is the cure!”

I've had depression for most of my life. It's important to identify the direct cause and then you can move to treat it. For 30 years, I languished under "treatment resistant depression" (as my shrink called it). I was cycled trom one SSRI to another and they tried putting me on ziprasidone (an antipsychotic in the same class as haloperidol) but it was impossible to even function in any normal
way on that. In the end, it was marijuana that helped me the most. THC has the effect of removing your inhibitions (including unconscious barriers that you may put up) and one evening, it suddenly hit me, that I alone was responsible for my depression and I knew exactly why. After that, I immediately took steps to rid myself of it. Even though it still lingers on, in one form or another, the bulk of it has been erased from my life. Other than that, UncleDoug offers some good advice here.

[ - ] dass 1 point 9 monthsAug 28, 2024 23:52:57 ago (+1/-0)

Get off big pharma, fix your diet - remove all goy slop/ refined sugar, seed oils, processed garbage/ packaged meals full of additives etc.

Return to organic as possible, grassfed meat, butter, pure dripping etc. Slow cooked nutritious home cooked meals, simple light nutritious food/ fruit or snacks during the day.

Plenty of clean fresh filtered water, and green tea.

I suffered from crippling clinical depression, constant suicidal idealation, insomnia etc and after a decade of multiple big pharma SSRI meds ballooned onto a slow witted, dull, obese self-hating goy.

Someone on OG Voat linked a reddit (of all places) thread using various amino acids for depression and mood imbalance etc.

Mornings-
agmatine sulphate 1 gram
Taurine 1 gram
acetyl L carnitine 1 gram
Magnolia extract

Afternoon
Taurine 1 gram
DLPA 1 gram

Night
Glycine 3 grams
Melatonin 2-6 grams
Magnolia extract

£-6 months later, suddenly realized no longer had the same mood imbalance and negative thought process.
5 years in, complete day and night change, no longer suffer criplling depression or suicidal idealation, lost over 33kgs (initially just through diet, but now regularly work out). Once again feel cognitively aware and not a mind full of jumbled cotton wool and unable to complete daily tasks.

i also take daily high quality (organic derived) supplementations for all essential vitamins/ minerals (Vit A, vit C, Vit D, Vit E, Vit K2 etc, Magnesium, Zinc, B Multi, lots of good quality fish oil, NAC, CO-enzyme Q12. a morning FOS powder for gut / bowel health and MCT oil etc etc.

Good luck.
Fck the jews and big pharma.

[ - ] I_am_baal 1 point 9 monthsAug 28, 2024 21:34:18 ago (+1/-0)

That's interesting that an antifungal med helped. I don't have a lot of specific info that will be useful in this case, but I do know that there is a massive correlation between alcoholism and underlying fungal infections. It might be worth doing some antifungal meds for a bit to see if it helps in a persistent way. Borax is a good natural antifungal that might be worth a shot. It's good for arthritis and the like as well and general joint problems. All you need is one small pinch of the stuff per day.

It could be as simple as candida overgrowth crowding out more beneficial bacteria in your gut and throwing a wrench in your serotonin production. I'm just spitballing at this point, but it's worth investigating further. Maybe try some strong probiotics too?

[ - ] absurdlyobfuscated 1 point 9 monthsAug 29, 2024 05:38:54 ago (+1/-0)

Borax will definitely help, or any boron supplement. It's essential for hormone production and a whole host of biological functions. Made a big difference for me, especially with anxiety.

[ - ] MaryXmas 1 point 9 monthsAug 28, 2024 21:14:40 ago (+1/-0)

Try 5htp for mood stability and B12 for depression. I have taken up to 10000 mcg of B12, don't be shy. 5htp is absolutely, absolutely amazing if your brain is missing that nurotransmitter. If not, you might waste 5 bucks. Again, don't be shy.

To get your dopemine sorted out, get in the bath tub and turn on the cold. Don't get out till you are submerged. It will be painful and then it will be total bliss. It doesn't have the dopemine crash that drugs have. If you have a tendency towards drugs, that will help you find a natural replacement. A cold bath gives more dopemine than a nose of coke. Has a bunch of other health benefits too. Aim for like 20 min to start. No ice required, it should come out of the tap around 56° which is cold enough.

What was the antifungal you took? Depression is a symptom of toxicity and inflammation. I have extreme mold allergy / hypersensitivity and can become severely depressed at the drop of a hat if exposed. The depression goes away just as quickly when the exposure is removed.

I have experienced this effect numerous times. That's how I know most mental illness treatments and medications are bullshit. The moment the toxicity exposure is removed you will be cured, just like you experienced. But everyone just wants to treat the symptoms and nobody really wants to find the true cause.

[ - ] SilentByAssociation 0 points 9 monthsAug 29, 2024 07:31:37 ago (+0/-0)*

A few things that come to mind would be sun gazing (only the morning or evening sun), heavy metal detox, and parasite cleanse. It may be gut-biome related. Researching a GAPS diet (Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride) might be of use as well.

I'd get your testosterone checked and get plenty of sunshine. You probably are low t.

I take about 10mg of test cyp a day. That's low for most that want to be roid heads but the average teen makes about 7-10mg of test a day. This much test cyp translates to about 6.8mg a day which is a good amount for an older man like me.

Sometimes I go higher and sometimes I go lower.

Some say you can get incredible prices from [email protected] if you ask for a price list. Takes a month to get here though...apparently. Lol.

Or just ask your doc but they like to do it their way. I like the control I have doing it my own way.

Super small amounts of hgh are great too.

Don't overlook this. Low t will FUCK YOU UP and literally cause depression.

Go for a walk in nature 30 minutes a day and listen to “The happiness trap.” Live based on your values and focus on creating meaning in whatever you do. Cooking dinner, exercising, talking with a friend on the phone. Any activity. Eat more eggs for the healthy fat and protein. Consider taking ZMA before bed. Addiction pushes away negative thoughts and emotions but they will rebound back unless you live your values and act with purpose every day. This will grow your ability to control unhelpful urges and experience peace. You can do it. Consider low dose ssri to take the edge off of sadness or worry. This can be overcome and you will be stronger on the other side. Good luck.

You can't cure mental illness.
It's a neurochemical process and at the core of the problem is your genes.
If your genes are geard towards neuroticism, well, here you are.
And drug use is just going to compound it.

Ever notice that schizophrenia and depression runs in families?
It's inherited.
Then notice that most schizophrenics/depressed use drugs.

You can't cure this, but you can manage it. (probably not).
Try going a year without any drugs. Alcohol is a drug. No alcohol.

If you can't do it, then you are an NPC.
Take some Jews with you when you are ready to leave.

100% FALSE

Over 95% of your body's serotonin production originates in your intestinal tract. Meaning if you have proper gut health, then your brain chemistry is correct and well regulated.

It's proven fact. A Proper Diet + Exercise = Curing Depression.

Edit - It's actually 95% - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5526216/

OK, go tell the funny farm all they need to do is eat their broccoli.

The "Funny Farm" Doctors intentionally nuke your body's ability to produce it's own Serotonin via the use of Prozac, Fluoxetine, Venlafaxine and other SSRI's. Once your begin taking the low dose of these known neurotoxic drugs, then your body stops producing it's own natural Serotonin.

They literally put you on those drugs knowing that they will put their patients at risk of even greater harm, mental illness if they ever attempt to stop taking these drugs.

The Doctor's "Cure" is to keep you taking the poisonous drugs, and continue to generate profits for the entire "mental health care" industry.

They do NOT want you to be cured.

You know, most people wouldn't have taken what I said so autistically literal.
But you did!

Most people would understand that the meaning of my post was, "If it's so simple, go fucking do it faggot!"

But, you focused on the least important part of the post.

OK, let's try this again. I'll make it autistic friendly just for you.

Go find anyone with schizophrenia, I don't give a fuck who it is.
I don't care if it's a homeless guy.
Feed the fucker whatever diet you want, turn him into a not-fucking crazy person.
Do it or shut the fuck up. You don't know what you are talking about.

But, I eat a balanced diet, with vitamin D3, so I can't be schizo.
