I agree with you gray. Feeding my dogs kitchen scraps caused them to disrespect boundaries of humans who were eating. Occassionally to the point of aggression. I can only assume a similar habituation occurs with these wild animals. After a few lessons, they feel entitled to eat whenever people with food are around . That will be an expectation they have, regardless of the individual human. And then if a new human doesn’t know the “rules”, who knows what will happen? Bears dont need this human interaction. Its strictly for our pleasure.

I dont think it, it’s how dogs are classified. Dogs are social parasites. They have evolved in that role for 20,000 years. It has nothing to do with whether I like dogs. Well it does really but the verdit is in on dogs. Theres no need to get emotional about it. Their role is pretty well understood. You might be able to make an argument for symbiosis with working dogs. But there aren’t many of those now. You should really be able to examine the issue dispassionately and not become hysterical.

The funny thing is, you probably love cats. Regardless though, there are 75 million dogs in the U.S. alone, there are tens of millions of working dogs out there who provide a variety of services to their owners that more than earns what they get in return. Not to mention, having a decent size dog in your house is one of the greatest deterrents you can own to thwart nigger home invaders, so in those cases they may not technically be working dogs, but they offer home security in return for the food people give them.

They really are just gigantic dogs, obviously a lot more dangerous, but if you take them in as cubs they can absolutely be great pets to their human Frens. Russians do it all the time, there are hundreds of videos of them hanging out with bears that prove these big bastards can be domesticated to some extent.
