Peter and Christine Scott have decided to use a double suicide pod in Switzerland after Christine was diagnosed with early-stage vascular dementia.

When the "will to survive" no longer exists, one becomes "unfit to survive"...on another note, anyone who is a certified underwater/openwater diver and had the misfortune of experiencing "nitrogen narcosis" (oxygen saturated with nitrogen usually from inadequate decompression at required atmospheric depths) knows what it feels like to be overcome by this gas...it would probably be the most comfortable way to expire.
