Just heard this morning that some sources are saying this investigation is primarily centered around NYC PC Caban, and not Mayor Adams as originally thought. Supposedly Caban's brother is a mafioso fixer for local businesses, nightclubs, etc, and has been using his PC brother for influence peddling. Not sure how much or if any of this is true, but that's the chatter I've heard.
