I will have fiber soon. It should be this fall or early next year. They've run the lines down the main road.

I am not on the main road. It's going to be expensive as we're paying them to run the fiber up here.

Its like getting out of a go-cart and jumping into a Ferrari. We now have everything connected, and its alot, kids PS4's and PS5's, Living room Netflix, bedroom Pluto, all our phones and my PC. I now watch everything if HD. I got the 1 Gig. Its a big upgrade compared to my shitty DSL. What used to take days to download now takes seconds or minutes.

When Netflix popped on it was so clear it was almost unbelievable. lol Before it was some grainy-looking shit. Now its full HD 4K. I'm living the life.

LOL That's a good thing. I don't even know what I'm gonna do with that much bandwidth, but it's gonna be geeky and impressive. I too will go with the gigabyte service.

I don't game or anything like that. I do a lot in the Linux community, so that's probably where my bandwidth will go. I might set up a seed box that's just for torrenting Linux image files (.iso files).

I wonder how it'll deal with piracy? I like to torrent files and have them long-term. So, we'll have to see how that goes. I'll try it a couple of times to see if they complain. If they don't complain, I'm pretty much going to download the entire internet.

Miraculously, I haven't torrented anything yet so IDK. One cool thing is you can run a outdoor 360 camera with it and zoom in on stuff with night vision and put it on all your TV's and PC!
