Nihilism is rooted in despair.

We might assume that despair is simply giving up hope. This is only partially true.

The full definition of despair includes a “positive act of the will” (as opposed to a passive acceptance or acquiescence), in which a person intentionally concludes that “salvation is impossible.”

Personally, I take no small amount of pleasure in having sat by the river long enough to see a large number of my enemies eventually float past.

Been that way since childhood

I reached that point 4 years ago and today I can only intensely anticipate the kickoff of the great boogaloo, today, since I've given up all hope I feel a lot more calm....FUCKING BRING IT ON.

a) Any suggested question tempts one to answer with affirmation (yes) or denial (no)...the latter implies nihil-ism (Latin nihilo; nothing).

b) A question aka a quest tempts one towards a suggested outcome (answer), while ignoring perceivable origin. Ones (partial) origin implies all (whole). Ignoring all for another one implies denying EVERYTHING (perceivable) for NOTHING (suggested).

c) View/videre - "to see" implies ones perception...not the suggested questions and answers by others.


Being implies one within all...few suggest alone aka all(in)one to tempt many to ignore that.


Each thing implies matter (life); everything implies motion (inception towards death). Holding onto matter tempts one to ignore motion.

For example..."you die alone" implies ones focus on the outcome of life (death), which in return tempts one to ignore the origin of life (inception) and the ongoing motion moving ones temporary life from inception towards death.


Being (life) implies directed (inception towards death) within an even line...reasoning about suggestions by others implies circular logic.

Reason (circular conflict) tempts one to ignore implication (directed inspiration). Using IF/THEN (implication) instead of VS (reason) clears ones world view up quickly from all the distortions.


Dark implies ones ignorance; light implies ones discernment. Adapting to perceivable inspiration grows ones discernment; while consenting to suggested information grows ones ignorance.

Yeah. I have a tendency to sink into that mindset but I refuse to be trapped in it. I have kids I need to be an example for. I pull myself out of it by finding joy in simple things like walks in nature, trip to a beach if possible, baking things for my family, etc.

But yeah. I’m so cynical these days and I hate it. I have issues with my parents, a husband that refuses to think about uncomfortable topics and is consumed with golf and sportsball, and my oldest is going through some things. Some days I want to check out.
