By some accounts, his Mom strongly influenced him into the entertainment industry after he was first noticed at a local mall talent show as a 10-12 yr old. I suspect, until he was much older he had no actual idea of what he was being 'groomed' into.

...and it was his slut of a mother who pushed him into the entertainment trap thinking that it was her kid's talent that was the drawing card...the kid's fucked now, "it's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll" but the trip to the bottom happens fast.
