When I was a teenager, I entered to win the steer calf.
First kid to grab a tag off it's horn won it.
There were 50 of us chasing that thing around the arena.
It was chaos.

And all I got for it was bullshit smeared across my shirt and a shitty story to tell.

That's exactly what happened. Out in the middle of Wisconsin. No nearby hospital. Just him and his wife. Lost a lot of family due to farming stuff. It's a tough life and a lot of times of you get injured bad in the field you just die.
