CSS can do a lot of things, but I wouldn't recommend it, since it needs an obscene amount of processing power to do it. You can bring low spec devices to a standstill with it.

Make what happen, use lots of CPU?

Problem with at least some of CSS' esoteric capabilities is that they are inefficient. A lot of things can be accomplished with various tools, but not every tool has the same cost in CPU for any given task. No way around testing which way is most efficient when the goal is to efficiency.

This reminds me that I once stumbled across a forum that loaded pages faster than common office tools load local files. It was so fast, in fact, that I sometimes didn't even realize that a new page had loaded since it was done loading before I released my mouse click. Truly marvelous and it made me unhappy about how slow the rest of the Internet is.
