He wasn't even a robber, he was mad because the driver wouldn't stop the bus to let him off on the side of the road where there wasn't a bus stop or even room to pull over. So he tried to shoot the bus driver, who only survived because he was trained to properly use his legally owned and possessed firearm. Of course he had his job terminated.
