The nest was destroyed when I went away for a couple days. I wonder if the neighbors didn’t attack it when I was away. It was either the neighbors or an animal. They didn’t complain about it. But it wouldn’t surprise me if they did it. RIP my poor hornets 😢

I finally seeded the lawn (bare spots) and am watering every day like a good nigger.

Was looking for a live stream, but this will have to do.

Had a field that needed (fire danger) mowing 25 years ago, but have not had a 'lawn' to mow since the 70s. I think of them as mainly an east coast relic. If you have a spot where you can grow grass, you could also grow hot peppers and other useful plants.

We get so much rain here though. Its just a choice between weeds and grass. I guess I could do weed block and through gravel down, but I like the grass. Call me old fashioned.

Our first rain of the season is predicted for the 27th & 28th of this month. Peppers and 'flowering plants' are doing great this year.
