After being freed, he sets out for revenge in "Kiss of Death"; then a ruthless criminal is hospitalized after a shoot out with the police, where a corrupt lawyer tries to coerce him into taking the fall for a robbery in order to free his client in "Cry of the City".

Sheltering from the rain the group meets the owners and their dinner guests who are not quite right in "The Old Dark House"; then a radio host evading a mafia boss stumbles into the life of a woman who just received her inheritance, a haunted plantation in Cuba in "The Ghost Breakers".
