Liu repeatedly commanding Wilson to back up, she charged at him in a dead-end hallway, leaving him no choice but to defend himself. The body cam footage shows Liu trapped, with no opportunity to retreat or de-escalate.

I gotta call bs on this part, you can clearly see the officer continued to retreat and even if he did finally get to the end there was a fire exit to the stairwell on his right.
