...a few days ago, it's my main band. 3 songs in! 'BAWWWWWWW! TURN IT DOWN! BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!'

--at the end, we were offered 3 more gigs because of the enthusiastic patrons. We kicked ass. FUCK BOOMERS!!

My son had an outdoor gig at a brewery, but it started to rain so they went inside to play. They play progressive hard rock, so they aren’t a band for the masses since they don’t do many covers any more.
Some old lady tried to turn down the jukebox thinking it was the band lol.

I hate loud, live music. I just end up leaving. You really can’t talk or hear shit and most bands suck ass.

It never fails that we get put next to multiple screaming kids, or the restaurant springs a live band, live clogging, state yelling championships or some shit. Fuck noise.

When told to turn down, and I know we aren’t loud, I always say “sure we will turn down just a bit on the mains” and then just act like I’m moving the sliders a bit.

That being said, you damned lead guitarists out there are always turning your volume knob up just a bit when no one is looking…. But I see you.

It kinda depends on where you go. If you are playing a restaurant, people didn't sign up for that shit. If it's a music venue, then obviously you play as loud as the law allows. A lot of places are somewhat in between and then people get pissy. I suggest just segregation.
