This just reminded me of a couple 7-8-9-10 times when shit loads of cash was a routine in the environment that followed us around. It was nothing uncommon to be handling,counting, stashing or moving hundreds of thousands of dollars daily/weekly. I remember one time in the Caribbean late 80s early 90s, being in a room with stacks of boxes filled with cash, mostly US but a lot of British £, there was myself and 3 others, each from the "interests" involved, and the counting begins, anyone who's ever counted a half million in cash knows the painstaking labor involved, and I ain't happy...then the meat scale is brought in and assembled, weighing money means that there's a lot of money...another occasion, I send buddy to Montreal to collect a few hundred thousand, he's by himself, as stipulated, he's picked up at a location and driven to another location, a barn, he goes in and is greeted by associate Bros with big hugs, a pat down for wire, and then a shot of cognac, again boxes of cash, he's handed a waterproof dufflebag and told that there's "no need to count it", he didn't. He's given the keys to a 1978 Ford Lincoln MKV that is now 15years old and is in mint showroom condition...he's told to inform me that I can keep the car until someone returning from Vancouver had to switch out vehicles again...it's not uncommon for loads of cash to be horded.
