No one does he was one of the fundamental traitors to the constitution.. abrham <<< jew name.. Lincoln was probably the worst i think the first income tax was after the Civil War but I could be wrong. Either way the simple solution the real white constitutional solution to the civil war was this...
North pays for all of the south slaves both sides work to send them all back to Africa.
No war tons of money saved
Constitutional convention is held. First thing added is no jews on American soil ever.
English is the national language
Judaism and Islam are outlawed
No woman will ever vote
No man will ever be taxed more then 10 percent<<< not sure how to work this out
No national or federal bank will ever be created and money will always be backed by gold silver platinum and maybe copper for the real small stuff???
That's a good start.. I'd like someone to write the book that shows how this plays out
the united states was concieved as a series of covenant communities, the only unifying laws were the ones essential to any society (handily summarized in the principle of non-aggression), anything else was up to the states to decide for themselves.
Lincoln changed that.
The membership in the union was intended to be wholly voluntary on the part of the states, just as the USA had emancipated themselves from the british rule, so too could any state or states decide to leave the union if they thought it was in their best interest to do so.
Lincoln changed that as well.
The problem with ol honest Abe was that he had fundamentally altered what the Unites States was and radically shifted the concept of what it was supposed to be.
It was Ruled Unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. Solution: Taft has enough power to generate the 16th amendment, to make it 'legal'..
The U.S. first introduced an income tax in 1861, envisaging it as temporary measure to help finance the Civil War. An 1861 law imposed a temporary 3% income tax on incomes over $800 that expired in 1872.
In 1894, the federal government levied a 2% tax on incomes over $4,000, but the tax was struck down by the Supreme Court the following year on the grounds that directly taxing Americans' income was unconstitutional.
To overcome this ruling, President William Howard Taft proposed the 16th Amendment to the Constitution to permit the federal government to collect income tax. The Amendment was ratified in 1913 and Congress enacted a federal income tax shortly after.
Today, half of all federal revenue comes from individual income taxes.
