My cat loves sniffing bleach, when I clean the bathroom she fights and bites to get in the door. Yes, she's orange.

My cats enjoy minestrone soup, Cheetos, Doritos, Ruffles, pancakes, shredded cheese, nacho cheese, plastic wrap, pistachio nuts, popcorn, ranch dressing... They've tried a lot of things - of course not on the regular. But they are very curious and if a bowl of minestrone is left out or there's open ranch dressing on the table, guaranteed there will be a cat trying to taste it.

Mostly the cats get very high quality dry food (Arcana) and some occasional wet cat food. They are very well cared for. But they do like to try new things.

One of our dogs (the corgi) likes broccoli. He hoovers that stuff. The German Shepherd enjoys shredded cheese and positively come running when I open a can of chicken. She always gets the mostly empty can to lick on.

I toss out defrosted frozen corn for the chickens and the cats eat it alongside them.

arrrr, my piggies belowdecks have become keen on the taste of long pork.

My dog fucking loves cucumber slices. I don't know what it is about them but he prefers them over all other vegetables.

I had a cat (still relatively a kitten at the time) run away with a 2lb bag of flour. He was found in a cookie factory before we got him.

My cat loved goldfish crackers. Liked them more than those friskies treats that cats like so much.

My dog loves brocolli. I discovered that the isothiocyanates in brocolli really bother my dogs tum though. I think cooking may destroy or greatly reduce them, but I still limit the brocolli to small amounts. I give him other veggies and fruits, mostly apples.

The dog has a shit eating habit. I guess thats a strange food. For awhile I was trying all these solutions to discourage the shit eating. One was to sprinkle hot pepper on the shit. The idea was to create a negative association with the shit. Well the opposite happened— he developed a taste for hot pepper. A couple of times he stole the hot pepper jar off the counter and was trying to lick the red pepper in it. Thats when I knew I had a weirdo.

He is a pretty proficient thief and always tries to steal groceries as I bring them in and am putting them away. Hes eaten sticks of butter, loaves of bread, etc. Lately he really has been going for the rice cakes. Maybe its because theyre usually on top of the bag. He grabs a bag of rice cakes and dives under the bed with them.

I used to give him cheerios as a treat but he became allergic to them. He’s allergic to everything.

My old dog used to eat the piles of rotting seaweed that sometimes accumulate on the beach near our house. The seaweed gets really stinky in the summer and he used to roll around in it and chomp on it a bit. That was weird.

It seems my little dogs are so strange after all. I've concluded that our pets have the attitude that "if you like it then I'll like it".

I had a cat that liked raisins.

My girlfriend had a cat that loved olives and banana pepper slices.

I WAS EATING CINNAMON CREAM CAKE FROM PUBLIX. MY CAT LAID ON MY ARM AND USED BOTH PAWS TO TAKE IT OUT OF MY HAND! SHE LICKED IT FOR A FEW MINUTES.

WE USED TO GIVE MY FRIENDS AMERICAN BULLDOG JALAPENOS. HED SCARF THEM DOWN, DRAG HIS FACE ON THE FLLOR FOR A COUPLE MINUTES, THEN COME BACK AND BEG FOR ANOTHER!

Never the less she has to jump on the table and sniff the bowl to see if there's anything she wants.
There never is.

when it is in, season I like to get fresh lychee from the oriental market downtown. my cat has eaten it with me on multiple occasions. of course I take the pit out and peel it for him but he eats it and wants more
