That spot implies ignorance within ones mind when reasoning (acceptance vs denial) about a suggestion. Reason tempts ones imagination to run circles (circular logic), while accumulating more and more suggested input, which clogs ones perception, hence obscuring ones sight.

Ignorance implies a self inflicted stain/spot that only SELF discernment can clean up...hence others utilizing suggestion to tempt one to ignore discerning SELF as perception (partial) within perceivable (whole), hence dis-cern.
