Well I don't know if they were vacs but I assume they were because I just don't know if that many incidents of cancer were people got diagnosed 3 weeks before they died in normal circumstances. I mean it was typically you would find out you have cancer and they would go through some treatment ritual or decide not to and it would be several months before you died.
Depends on the cancer really. Fifteen years ago my friend was diagnosed, three months later she was dead. Died right in front of me while we were out celebrating my birthday. Eight years ago my father was diagnosed in November, died on the first of the year. You can't put all cancer in the same basket, it depends on the type and location, the person's diet and lifestyle, the person's environment etc. Cancer that seems to kill quickly has always been a thing. It usually doesn't just pop up all of a sudden, it's something that's been there for a while that only shows symptoms when it's too late.
