No matter how bad you think Covid policies were, they were intended to be worse.

Consider the vaccine passports alone. Six cities were locked down to include only the vaccinated in public indoor places. They were New York City, Boston, Chicago, New Orleans, Washington, D.C., and Seattle. The plan was to enforce this with a vaccine passport. It broke. Once the news leaked that the shot didn’t stop infection or transmission, the planners lost public support and the scheme collapsed.

It was undoubtedly planned to be permanent and nationwide if not worldwide. Instead, the scheme had to be dialed back.

Features of the CDC’s edicts did incredible damage. It imposed the rent moratorium. It decreed the ridiculous “six feet of distance” and mask mandates. It forced Plexiglas as the interface for commercial transactions. It implied that mail-in balloting must be the norm, which probably flipped the election. It delayed the reopening as long as possible. It was sadistic.

they actually built them in the UK and Australia.

we had one at Donnybrook that ended up with 350 volunteers move in for photo ops that was shut down almost immediately because it made the whole 'how dare you compare yourself to jews' argument a little bit difficult to make.

i saw the plans for the thing, honestly, it looked far more like it was for VIPs being flown in from overseas, and immediately being sent to the camp, rather it for being for local refuseniks, shit had its own lounges and kitchens, and the entrances and exits were labelled 'air side' and 'ground side' - its like a 30-40 min drive from Tulla airport... seemed like a good place for someone like.... Daniel Andrews to hide himself in and scream to be put in jail if victorians go feral and decide to tear him apart.

Wish I had. Empty streets didn't last more than a few weeks, then everyone came back outside, but up to 98% wore masks outside. (100% inside)

That was the great convincer that at least 90% of the human population should be culled.

Parts of the state are the best place to live on this planets surface. (depending on your criteria) The trick is to minimize your contact with the local/regional retards and avoid interactions with the state.
