They planned for a lot of people to be killed because coming to my house and taking me and mine to a quarantine camp will result in shots being fired.

The priority with concentration camps is to collect a particular group together in order to control them. The priority with quarantine camps is to separate a particular group from the rest of the population.

[E] I agree there is likely no difference in this instance, and I think there may also be a particular relevance to the popular understanding of concentration camps as being extermination camps.
