An exploration of the computing industry over the last 50 years has gone from huge corporate rooms holding a single computer down to consumer computers that fit on a wrist, essentially with the same computing power.
Why have the advances in medicine not followed the same pattern? 50 years ago, the labwork was done in a large corporate room, taking several hours/days, down to a large corporate room taking an hour or less, but still no consumer devices.
Theranos tried to change that. There are all kinds of sensors available for years on different molecules and compounds, yet nothing for the body. TVOC, methane, even H2 sensor are available for home use for very little, and even home glucose have become standard. But nothing for a whole body scan.
I think I recall several announcements from MIT about "lab on a chip" and other home type inventions, but nothing seems to have advanced to the general public stage. Maybe I am wrong on that. I do see a few "mail in a sample" type lab kits, but those still take a week or more to get results from.
It could be that Theranos actually was a scam from the start, or maybe Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos were (((sabotaged))) at several stages to make them fail and keep people captive to the (((medical industry))).
With all that has happened and what is being exposed, it wouldn't surprise me that there were evil forces at work to kill home medicine.
