Wearing a pin supporting Palestine WHILE IN UNIFORM?!? I am fairly certain that is a violation of UCMJ

I think both Israel and Palestine can go fuck themselves... but military personnel should NEVER display political messaging while in uniform. Does former Army intelligence officer Captain Josephine Guilbeau need to be made famous? Any vets want to chime in on this?

Veteran here. If she's not actually in the military any more (as in not reserve, guard, IRR or any of that) she can wear whatever she wants. She is just cosplaying any more.

As long as you're not on a military base. I could put on an Admiral's uniform go to some street in OKC and do whatever. It would be really stupid, everybody who didn't know it was fake AF would be the civilians who would not know what an admiral's uniform looked like to start with, but as long as I'm not using said uniform to commit fraud I'm golden.

Let me get on a military base and I'm through with money though.

I thought that wearing rank you did not earn would be 'stolen valor' and that there were laws about that ( I know the army lets this slide for costumes and actors, etc. bu that the got pissy with veterans wearing rank they did not earn)

Stolen valor laws are usually just fluff and have not stood up to any actual 1st amendment challenge. Every case I've seen anything about were active duty idiots who tried to wear their geedunk medals and got caught. An admiral that had an unearned V device on his Navy Commendation medal, A Marine who wore an unearned purple heart, etc.

Fucking lol. Had my medals questioned a few times for that particular little add-on. It's right there in the record every time they look it up. Along with a couple from the other branches, just to fuck with people I guess.

You have to be using the uniform as a means of trying to gain a special privilege. Like trying to get a discount at a store or something.

I thought that 'once in you never get out' and that unless discharged less than honorably she is still a part of the inactive reserves and would still be subject to UMCJ while in uniform ... not a vet so correct me if wrong

War crimes exist in order to protect soldiers.
Calling out Israel and their War Crimes is what all military personnel should be doing.

Demanding the Israeli government and the IDF be hung for War Crimes has nothing to do with politics.
Hanging the Israeli government and the IDF for War Crimes is how we protect our soldiers and makes sure the Israelis are forced to follow the same rules that our soldiers are required to.

War crimes are a joke. It's only enforceable by the winning side, who then gets to define what is or is not a 'war crime'. A winner's 'war crimes' will be hidden by propaganda and history books, as they will be the one's writing them.

If China, Russia, or NATO commit War Crimes - That's partially true.

But if smaller countries like Niger, Pakistan, or Israel commit War Crimes - Those War Crimes can be enforced.

The Israeli government and IDF can and should be hung for War Crimes.

As a side note - China, Russia, and NATO are hesitant to commit War Crimes, because if they commit War Crimes, they're allowing others to commit War Crimes against themselves.

Every soldier has a duty to protect their own by making sure that everyone in the Israeli government and IDF are hung for War Crimes.
