The range of the missiles is something like 300 miles, the payload weight is a couple hundred pounds at most.

It is a serious escalation but it's bullshit to be ambiguous about what these missiles can do.

The other thing is that they don't have even a dozen of them and russia has hundreds or thousands of hypersonic counter missiles if they are honest in their own reporting.
