Look, this is funny. But let's be a little honest here. When it comes to the appearance department, men going out for an evening aren't expected to do much beside being clean and dressed appropriately. The shit women have to do is a lot more time-consuming than what we have to do, unless you want your woman to go out for dinner with no makeup and a haircut matching yours.

It's a different story if they're going to grab Taco Bell. I've dated women that refused to step out of the house without being 'ready', and that's too much.

They mostly do it for each other. Men don't want makeup, the perfect dress, pumps, etc. They want a clean woman who is happy with them. Long hair is nice but not something you need to spend that much time on.

Though of course they do. Because they are women, they will always spend an inordinate amount of time on this stuff. Men may find it silly but we love them anyway.
