Possibly the greatest emo song of all time.

I have to admit I wouldn't even know that this song existed if I hadn't had a teenage daughter! Our home was all about MCR for about a full year... The funny thing is that we hated each others music, until I turned her on to the Smiths, and we started moving towards the center musically, I guess I just heard her music so much around the house that it grew on me...

Its a masterpiece, it's okay to admit it.

Same here, and continues to a lesser degree. Even made a roadtrip to Nashville for an MCR concert 16th B-Day present. Some really good memories made on that trip together. They're actually a really good band and are pretty talented.I love their music. Now if I could just get her to listen to my Dio collection.

It's great that you did that for her birthday. As you guys get older. she'll look back on stuff like that. Those will be the things that she remembers about you as her Dad, in-spite of all the difficult times you may have had.

I grew up with brothers, I was Ill prepared to raise a daughter. She used to complain to her Mom, that I was "Caveman Dad"... She fought with me a lot, she was really good at testing the boundaries, She was a carbon copy of her Mom, with an attitude stuck on 11.
