People say you can raise those things from small and they'll act like dogs. Like, they can learn simple commands, come when called, and like head scratches. I don't think you can house train them though, and when they get that big you gotta feed them whole rabbits and chickens. I kind of want to get one and see what that's all about, but my wife'll have a heart attack and I don't want to scrub lizard shit out of the carpet.

That's fine and well, I'd prefer that anyway. Still have my lovely wife to consider. She thinks they're all venomous and specifically out looking for her. Some kid had his ball python with him at the farmers market last Monday and she broke into a full run, bout knocked over the bread guy's baguette display.

Old neighbor of mine had a lizard, not this big, but I remember him training it to do his business in one area of the kitchen. Don’t know if it was a litter box, the thing was maybe two 1/2 feet long, including tail.
