I've never seen that level of searching before. Have flown into and out of the US several times and it always only the scanner thingy and then you keep walking. Hs things changed again the last few months?

They also do it every time you fail the scanner, which I do every time, since I have had surgery which required a medical metal prosthetic to be permanently inserted. Major, major pain in the ass.

Yep, the card is worthless. Even paid good money to get the the "pre-screened" status bullshit, and still have to get the pat/rub downs. If I didn't have to fly large distances on occasion, I wouldn't even fuck with it and just drive.
