Man, we've been doing this for a long time... I swear, one of these days we'll finally quit having the Friday Night Guitar Thread. It's bound to happen - but that's not yet. So, here we go again!!!

Yeah, I can relate. I've written all sorts of songs but my real passion is making cover music as accurate as I possibly can. I really enjoy that aspect. It means the songs are already familiar and have emotions attached to them. I like to make the audience feel things.

That could be it. You two don't really have a wide variety of chords that you play - which isn't really required for a ton of music. Shit, if you learn a half-dozen chords you can cover all sorts of shit and fake a bunch more.

As disgusting as it sounds, I've coughed less often AND my coughing has been more 'productive'.

I'd cough and cough and nothing would come up until my lungs were pretty full of phlem. Then, it'd take a lot of effort to cough up just a little bit. That bit was green and brown. There was no blood so I didn't care too much.

Anyhow, I've coughed up a ton of phlem today. I also feel a bit better, which means the fever has probably broken.

It's disgusting, but I'm keeping track of the phlem that's coming out of me. I've coughed a lot less but produced a lot more. So, it's breaking up and I'm fighting off the infection. That means I'm probably gonna survive.

(If it got too bad, or gets too bad, I'll see a professional.)

I play the odds and eat a healthy diet, and take a multivitamin. I don't think vitamin C will help me in a significant manner, or so research tells me, but I get plenty of it in my diet.

But, it's much improved today. I didn't have any coughing fits for hours after waking up. It wasn't until later in the day that they started - and they're much less often than they have been lately. So, that's a good thing.

It's weird but I know how it happened...

It started with me not getting an ear infection treated. Well, that's connected to the sinuses. I had a bout of sinusitis after about a week of the ear infection. This, of course, means post-nasal-drip and infected mucus entering the lungs. That led to the respiratory infection that I have now.

I'll survive... It has been a couple of weeks but it's getting better. If it doesn't improve for certain soon, I'll go see a doctor. They'll give me some antibiotics which should clear it up.

I actually feel like shit. I'm drained and I have a nasty chest infection going on. I'll survive.

This week was a busy week and I was otherwise occupied, so, there's nothing new. That's fine. I have something that hasn't been shared in a while - and it's an artist that everyone loves and a song that everyone knows!

Man, I've coughed so much that I've pulled back and chest muscles. Ah well... I'll survive. I'll likely consult a professional at some point. Well, that assumes that it doesn't clear up. I've had it for a couple of weeks at this point.

During the pandemic, there was a huge uptick in guitar sales.

Having people to jam with is awesome. One of the things I can credit the guitar for is that it has opened so many different doors that I'd have never had access to without being a guitar player.
