That's one of my favorite cartoons. I posted that about seven years ago on Facebook to outrage on old far left liberal acquaintance who began nagging me about my newfound right wing positions. (He'd known me for decades as a liberal and my shift in mindset was incomprehensible to him.) My strategy worked, and combined with a couple of other memes I posted to my timeline, he reee'd and screeched about "women's rights" and some other stupid shit and unfriended me. He never did try to prove me wrong.

Think about being an ant. You’re in a colony. It’s the most powerful colony in the known world. Generations on generations. All your friends and family born and bred and love and life. Then some aliens come along and genocide your whole colony. You witness your friends and family dying. You crawl past their corpses as you feel the life leaving your body. In the end you were in the way of a lemonade stand for 10 year olds.
