My dad had a purple one. He used to let me drive it once in a while.

Pops had one sitting in the garage my whole childhood. 1969 roadrunner but with a 440. Saw it run a few times and always loved that gorgeous car

Father In Law inherited one of these. Still runs but will require a lot of work.

It's almost enough for social security

I have a 66 mustang. Brakes went out on it while I was driving. Lucky I was just taking it easy. I don't really want to drive it anymore

Yeah, I haven’t enjoyed roadside repairs in decades myself. Fuck that.

I remember those years, just before the OPEC oil embargo, when some of the greatest cars ever made were being sold. In 1985, I bought a used 1970 Plymouth Duster. That thing was a tank; it had over 200,000 miles and was still running strong. It had a huge V8 engine and could still do 90 mph. Those days are gone, alas.

In `83, I got my first car, It was a restored `74 Olds Cutlass Supreme, Maxxed at 120 on the speedo, no govenor, I decided to test that one fine afternoon on the way home from school. What a ride that was! I rather miss that car!
