Could you elaborate a little? I've thought for many years that the huge push by the medical field to limit salt was nefarious. I know salt is necessary for muscle/nerve function and fluid and electrolyte balance/regulation so I imagine not having enough of the right kind of salts would really screw things up.

Thanks for the link. I had no idea about using it for renal issues. I am going to look into Rick Simpson Oil in more detail so I appreciate that info too. ESRD or AKI makes up a large percentage of patients on my caseload at any given time. I have really seen an uptick in the past five years and the outlook is generally very bad.
You were on dialysis and no longer are without a kidney transplant? That would be amazing because as far as I know the chances of getting off dialysis are under 5%.
Even if it doesn't "cure" a person of the kidney issues it looks like it is very effective at treating anorexia/ nausea/ itching that commonly come with kidney issues.
Marijuana can be abused but it certainly has it's uses. Looks like you're living proof.

I grow my own and we all use it for what I guess one could call rituals. We will gather in one of our yards and have a neighborhood party/bonfire. Others smoke more often and still function well enough, I smoke socially and sometimes when my wife and I are on a date.
