Yes. It's two milk toast. It doesn't provide any real emotional energy for anyone.

[ - ] Smedleys_Butler 1 point 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:14:13 ago (+1/-0)

I think one of the saddest things I've seen lately was pastor Steven Anderson, who named the jew, gleefully marrying a mixed couple.

[ - ] Love240 1 point 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:16:28 ago (+1/-0)

Worse than that; It has come out via revelation from his 4 oldest children that he is a child abuser and a spousal abuser. And has used the pulpit to wrest the scripture and proclaim himself righteous for his many works.

[ - ] Smedleys_Butler 1 point 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:24:11 ago (+1/-0)

Really? How old are they cause he looks pretty young?

[ - ] Love240 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:39:31 ago (+0/-0)

Approximately 17-23, IIRC. It's pretty terrible. I already asked for his resignation. It was not met with a godly response.

Isn't (((Steven Anderstein))) that faggot pastor that you used to post his live streams every Sunday?
And you banned me from your Christ-Cuck sub for telling you he's everything White Nationalist Pagans say Christians are?

How many times do you need to be bit by the snake before you put it down?

[ - ] Love240 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 23:43:00 ago (+0/-0)

No, I banned you for besmirching the Lord Jesus Christ.

[ - ] Master_Foo 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 23:45:04 ago (+0/-0)

OK, prove it, and unban me and I'll besmirch your beloved Jew-Pastor (((Steven Anderstein))).

[ - ] Love240 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 23:48:00 ago (+0/-0)

We've already been through this.
I told you to ask me, and to affirm that you will not besmirch the name of Jesus and you have refused.
I don't care what you say about Mr. Anderson.

[ - ] Master_Foo 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 23:53:21 ago (+0/-0)

besmirch the name of Jesus
What is permitted?
Can I call him Holey Hands?
What about Mr. J?
Or "That Fella Down The Street What Is Always Yelling At Fig Trees".

All religions are dying... The disillusion is real and will only compound as time progresses. GOD is my constant companion and I need no church or priest to confer with him (nor does anyone else).

[ - ] Reawakened 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:03:55 ago (+0/-0)

Baptist are protestant. They're not Catholic. Not Roman Catholic, Orthodox Catholic, Syrian Catholic, Coptic Catholic, Reformed Catholic, Ukrainian Catholic...

Protestant simply means Christian that's not Catholic, like goy means not jewish.

That said, no, the Protestant Churches are not dying. There is a revival taking place in America. The degenerate silliness promoted by the jews is starting to cause a backlash, and people are finding Christ. There's probably a revival taking place in the Catholic Church as well, but I have no way to judge that, but I see the revival in Protestant Churches.

[ - ] Love240 1 point 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:14:46 ago (+1/-0)

No, I do not agree with your definition of Baptist being 'protestant'.

Protestants are so called because they separated from the RCC by 'protest' over doctrine they wanted changed.

Baptists have always been believers in the Word and have had nothing to do with the blasphemous pagan syncretism that is the RCC.

[ - ] Reawakened 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:31:27 ago (+1/-1)

Whether you agree or not, that's what it is.

I know that some Baptists believe that they arose out of the ether. I was a member of that convention with their headquarters in Nashville for years. It's a comfortable, and unnecessary fiction. Baptists rejected Catholicism like most protestant denominations, or denomination precursors.

If you believe you can trace the Baptist Church back to John the Baptist or one of the Apostles without including the Catholic Church, then, by all means, please enlighten me. A statement by a guy in the 1800s isn't going to get us there. If you can't demonstrate it through historical records, then it's simple supposition.

[ - ] Love240 -1 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:37:27 ago (+0/-1)

Whether you agree or not, that's what it is.

I don't think you've demonstrated that.

Baptists rejected Catholicism like most protestant denominations, or denomination precursors.

We don't define ourselves by new doctrine we must reject... That's very reactionary.

If you believe you can trace the Baptist Church back to John the Baptist or one of the Apostles without including the Catholic Church, then, by all means, please enlighten me.

That's it... Just grace through faith. It's belief, just as Jesus, John, Paul, Peter, Luke, Mark, Matthew, etc. said...

A statement by a guy in the 1800s isn't going to get us there. If you can't demonstrate it through historical records, then it's simple supposition.

Ironic, because Catholics do that same thing just with a different year.

There is nothing in the Bible that indicates the creation of the RCC.

That is entirely the creation of man.

The onus is on you, not me.

[ - ] Reawakened 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:46:28 ago (+1/-1)

So you have no answers. Got it.

Grace through faith,

On that we agree, though I would add the word "alone" to make it a complete thought.

[ - ] Love240 -1 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:48:07 ago (+0/-1)

So you have no answers. Got it.

Projection. I literally just answered your claims that are answerable. You came into this with a loaded presumption which is not true.

It is grace through faith alone, which is why Catholicism is not Christian. I'm glad you agree.

[ - ] Reawakened 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 16:01:42 ago (+0/-0)

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/protestant
a member of any of several church denominations denying the universal authority of the Pope and affirming the Reformation principles of justification by faith alone, the priesthood of all believers, and the primacy of the Bible as the only source of revealed truth

What part of that doesn't fit your flavor of Baptist?

[ - ] Belrial 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 18:20:58 ago (+1/-1)

According to Wikipedia.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baptists

Modern Baptist churches trace their history to the English Separatist movement in the 17th century, over a century after the foundation of the Church of England during the Protestant Reformation.[6] This view of Baptist origins has the most historical support and is the most widely accepted.[7] Adherents to this position consider the influence of Anabaptists upon early Baptists to be minimal.

The difference is I studied our history and know Luther broke off first, then all the rest of the protestant churches broke from there. Love there is woefully ignorant, but that's nothing we haven't seen already.

[ - ] Love240 -1 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 16:05:33 ago (+0/-1)*

Good for jew. Secular dictionaries don't define my faith.

You still missed the part where I said

We don't define ourselves by new doctrine we must reject... That's very reactionary.

We are Baptists, like John, like Jesus.

What part of that doesn't fit your flavor of Baptist?

The part where Baptists have never had anything to do with the RCC other than being burned at the stake by them.

The Bible defines our faith.

We don't go around calling ourselves non-zionists or protestants, or non-lutherans or non-marcionites. Baptists are simply Christian.

[ - ] Reawakened 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 16:16:18 ago (+1/-1)

That's a rare bit of verbal magic you're playing there. The definition exists whether you like it or not.
I'll ask you some easy yes or no questions.
Do you deny the universal authority of the pope?
Do you believe in salvation through faith alone?
Do you believe in the priesthood of all believers?
Do you believe Sola Scriptura?

If you answered "yes" to all these questions, then you are a Protestant, whether you like it or not. (Protip, you're a protestant, you're not Catholic.) Not sure why you bristle at being a Protestant. Seems an odd hill to die on.

[ - ] Love240 -1 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 16:19:05 ago (+0/-1)

Baptists are believers in God's Word, Jesus Christ, that salvation is by grace through faith alone.

The DSM-5 defines homosexuality as normal.

Why do you keep appealing to man?

Baptists are not and never were 'protestants'.

We believe God rather than men. This is the hill I will die on.

[ - ] Master_Foo 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 23:32:36 ago (+0/-0)

I bet you the "revival" is mostly brown converts.

[ - ] Reawakened 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 23:34:02 ago (+0/-0)

Not where I live.

[ - ] Master_Foo 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 23:41:44 ago (+0/-0)

LOL.
The collection plate in your church is getting lighter and lighter every week, and the only people left, with a low enough IQ to believe they can buy their way into heaven, are brown people.

Your pastor will accept any brown person who pays for his kid's orthodontics.

[ - ] Reawakened 0 points 4 monthsDec 18, 2024 05:05:00 ago (+0/-0)

I think you'd be surprised.

[ - ] iSnark [op] -2 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:12:20 ago (+0/-2)

Ah Bullshit! Go ahead! Keep your head in the sand! The delusion is strong in YOU! If there is a revival in the Catholic Church, Where do you think all of these souls are coming from? Former prots that saw through the Bullshit! Baptists are in fact Protestants! They are a break-away from the One True Catholic Church!

Grow up! Put your Binkey down, and embrace Catholicism! It's time for you to come Home!

[ - ] Sector2 2 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:36:21 ago (+2/-0)

Most Protestant churches are not Christian, and no Catholic churches are Christian.

The wide path is the popular path.

[ - ] Reawakened 1 point 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:43:19 ago (+1/-0)

Sorry, I can't believe that Christ's sacrifice is just not quite enough; that I have to do something and only the Church has enough power to get me across the line. That seems to limit Christ's power, and that simply doesn't make sense.

The Orthodox Catholic Church can lay claim to the same heritage as the Roman Catholic Church. At one time the Pope was just one of 5 senior Bishops.

The pope is a sinful man just like the rest of us.

Mary was the vessel chosen to deliver Christ, but she has no special magic powers in heaven, and Church doctrine does not trump the Holy Bible.

That's why I could never be Catholic. Just too much heresy for my taste.

The revival is coming from sinners finding Christ. There are plenty of those to go around. Please feel free to continue to indulge in your papist delusions. Hopefully, one day, you will understand the error of your ways and you will fully accept Christ's Sacrifice alone as being all you need for salvation.

[ - ] Master_Foo 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 23:43:15 ago (+0/-0)

The pope is a sinful man just like the rest of us.
Seems like dead weight to me.
Why don't you crucify him and get it over with?

[ - ] Love240 -1 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 15:15:36 ago (+0/-1)

Baptists were never 'protestants'. In your dreams, pagan.

[ - ] Love240 -1 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 14:05:40 ago (+0/-1)

Okay. Baptists aren't Protestant (AKA Catholic lite).

You've been told this numerous times, pagan.

[ - ] iSnark [op] 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 14:07:50 ago (+1/-1)

YES! Baptists ARE Protestants! You fail again!

[ - ] Love240 -1 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 14:09:42 ago (+0/-1)

Where is this written? Go ahead and show me.

Baptists are not 'Protestant'.

Do you even know where that term comes from, pagan?

It comes from ex-Catholics who simply wanted small changes in their blasphemous pagan idolatrous 'church'.

That's not Baptists. Baptists were always believers in God's Word, not in the pagan syncretism in the similitude of Christianity.

Defend your faith, pagan!

[ - ] iSnark [op] 0 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 14:18:48 ago (+1/-1)

Settle down Pretty Little Prissy Pants! You fight like a girl!

You Can't handle the truth that YOU belong in the Catholic Church!
You can NOT deny that YOU are outside the One True Church, the Church that Christ founded!

Come on in to the Light! Leave that man-made Abomination of a desert, that you belong to behind!

Start looking into the Traditional Latin Mass!

Put the drugs, alcohol, and porn down!

Your move!

[ - ] Love240 -1 points 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 14:20:01 ago (+0/-1)

I don't see any defense of your claims.

Apparently you can't even put up a little girl's fight, because you can't even defend your faith.

Why can't you defend your faith, pagan?

Oh, it's because it's not based on anything besides the pagan traditions of men.

Repent and believe in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation.

[ - ] iSnark [op] 1 point 4 monthsDec 17, 2024 14:28:12 ago (+1/-0)

Christ doesn't say anything about the RCC.

Catholicism IS Christ-Centered!

Says the worshiper of the Pope and the 'Virgin Mary'.
