MAHOMET, Ill. (WCIA) — The Champaign County Coroner identified the names of three family members who were killed in a shooting Wednesday night in Mahomet.

Coroner Laurie Brauer said Sara E. Mason, age 26, was pronounced dead at the scene in the 1100 block of Riverside Ct.

Janis L. Mason, age 61, and Caleb M. Mason, age 23, were both pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Carle Foundation Hospital, just after 10 p.m.

The Champaign County Coroner’s Office, Mahomet Police Department and Illinois State Police are continuing to investigate.

He killed the Masons then went to the house of fuentes. The cops showed up and he ran into a random house and killed two dogs before having a shoot and run with the cops and getting killed.
