I saw that crazy diagram with two domes, one of which is mirrored, to project spherical geometry onto a flat surface... and the weird blob shadow that never touches Antarctica, and all I could think is "OMG! they are going to make them all go to the north pole and do it again in June!" Some times I think these people are just scamming for free vacations to cool places! Hey anyone want to crowd fund my trip? I'm gong to charter an ice breaker to take me up above the arctic circle in June and I'll set up time lapse cameras to conduct the final-final experiment!

So - i have no idea - but seeing as the Antarctic is at the bottom of the globe earth -does this mean that the sun is below the Earth's equator for the entire 24 hr orbit?.

I'm just having trouble finding a 24 hr model online of this - so i can understand it better visually - any help?
