#1 Fuel nozzles have a vacuum tube that returns gasoline fumes/vapors from your car's tank back to the service station where it will condense into liquid fuel to resell.
#2 Weights and measures tests gasoline dispensing at 5 gallons increments. A conniving gas station owner can set the dispensing flow meter over-measure to 4 gallons then slow down and be correct by 5. Results in an overcharge but still passes the certified test.

ive got this 10 litre plastic jerry can i get filled up from time to time.

ya know how much fuel goes in it if i fill it to the 'max' line?

around 10 litres give or take a couple of ml. exactly in line with the video. she would have been overcharged about half a fucking cent on that.
